Mindful Movement

Kylie's classes are a blend of movement stems from Dance, Therapeutics, Physical Rehabilitation, Somatics. 

Mindful Movement is the blending of these components to create a practice that is both curative as well as explorative. 

We explore integration of our-Selves through movement, breathing, stillness, self-reflection. 

We tune into all aspects of our being & learn from this state of self observation. 

This practice doesn't have to look or be a certain way, it's a very fluid and organic practice that is totally up to you, It's all about finding your right practice.


The practice is a way of healing through guided mobility, meditative breathing & communicative awareness.

In a private session, Kylie will :

  • Guide the client through a series of supported & passive movements based on where the body and mind are presently.

  • Help to explore range of motion, mobility and to hold space while facilitating the client's natural release.

  • Use various techniques involving myofascial stretching or rolling, thai tapotement techniques, meditative breath guidance, props from bolsters to aerial silks to create healing that is unique to each being.


Together these actions result in a comprehensive experience that relieves tension, improves blood flow/circulation, boosts the immune system and creates an energetically balanced state of being. 

Movement Therapy is typically done with a mat on the floor or a table can be used as well, both client and practitioner are dressed in comfortable clothing allowing ease of movement during the session.
